Order NUC - Sold Out!

Please make sure you have completely read the requirements and understand the costs for ordering your 5 frame NUC before placing your order.

• 2010 NUCs were only $85 each. We cannot determine the price for 2011 NUCs until November.
• Each NUC comes with 5 frames.
• NOTE: payment in full must be received by March 1st 2010.
• Please: do not return spare frames in the NUC box. Thank you but we don't need them.
• All orders are first come first serve.
• I will NOT be able to Order Bees if your Equipment is Not Ready.
• You are responsible for picking up the Bees when they arrive. (We live in North Henry County, GA.)
• You are responsible for returning the NUC box within 7 days of pickup.

NUC Installation Instructions Please Read!

1. When you arrive home, place the NUC on top of the bottom screen board of your hive.
2. Remove bungees from front screen door - let the door drop to the ground.
3. Next day (or if it is raining wait until the weather is better) remove 5 frames from the center of the new hive you are installing the NUC into. Lightly smoke the NUC. Remove one of the outside frames first (it should have less bees on it). This will give room to slide frames over and not roll bees when removing them from the NUC. Install frames into the new hive in the same order you removed them from the NUC. You will have a total of ten frames in your new hive.
4. If you find some bees lingering in the NUC box, this is normal. Move the NUC box about 6 feet away from your new hive and the bees will find their way to their new home.
5. Check for queen cells while you are installing bees. If you find any cells be sure to remove them.
6. Start feeding sugar water now!!
   • 2.5 quarts of hot water mixed with 5 lbs. of sugar makes 1 gallon; let it cool; then give to bees.
7. Return my equipment to me in 7 days.

   • 36" bungee
   • 24" bungee
   We need this equipment to install another NUC for another beekeeper.
8. No frame exchange please.
9. Please return your NUC box at any time. Make sure your name is still taped on the top of your NUC box. Leave the NUC box next to Buster's garage (where you picked up your NUCs). This way we can keep a count on our equipment. Thank you!
10. If the equipment is not returned you will be charged as follows.
    • NUC box- $30.00
    • Front screen door- $5.00
    • 36" bungee-$4.00
    • 24" bungee-$3.00
    • Or a total of $42.00 for all of the equipment per NUC.
