I started in 1997 with two hives and today I have many hives. I believe that Honey bees are a gift from God. Part of taking care of the earth that God has given us is taking care of the creatures that inhabit it. Honey bees are the only insect that makes food for us. Honey bees are responsible for about 80% of all fruit, vegetable and seed crops in the U.S.

Tara Beekeeper of the Year!!
Buster was named 2014 Beekeeper of the year by the Tara Beekeeper association. Buster was recognized for his many hours working with new and old beekeepers. He has also given hours of his time teaching children about the importance of the honeybee.
11 Alive Interviews Buster
Recently 11 Alive came by Buster's Bees and did an interview with Buster. The interview discusses how locally made honey reduces seasonal allergies.
The word "Honey" is found in 56 Bible verses. "My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste."Proverbs 24:13
Buster and Peanut
We hope with God's help and ours, that the next generation of BeeKeepers will have the foresight to recognize how important the Honey Bee is to our survival. A Beekeeper is a person with the education to know when and how to help the bees!

Buster has built an observation hive for teaching about the honey bee hive and how they operate. The observation hive is currently on display at Busters Bees Beekeeping supply store.
